Style on Target | $100 Target Gift Card Giveaway

I’ve always had a passion and a love for clothes. I don’t think that makes me unique among the members of my sex, most of us do. If you asked my friends, they would agree that I’m usually in a better mood when I like my outfit (I’m not proud of that, but hey, self confidence has to come from somewhere, right?)

What makes me even happier than a good outfit, is a good outfit that doesn’t make me cringe when I’m told the total and have to hand over my card. My friend Faison came up with an idea and challenged herself, Chelsea, and I to create a whole, head to toe, hat to shoe look from one of my favorite places (and probably yours, too), Target.

 

 

You guys, Target has really stepped up their game with style lately. I’ve always been a fan of shopping for basics at Target, but looking for stylish, statement pieces elsewhere. For this look, I really wanted to challenge myself to pull together a complete look around a statement piece I found from Target. I will admit, when we went shopping for this project I was having a hard time in the fitting room. I must have tried on over 15 outfits with no success, and I was starting to feel a bit disheartened. While Chels and Faison finished up in the fitting room, I went to look around one more time and stumbled across these striped tie front pants. They fit like a dream, and with the lightweight fabric and slit up the side, I knew they would be perfect for a summer day at the Parks.

 

 

After I found the pants, the rest of the outfit just fell into place. I picked up this yellow tank, and accessorized with pink tassel earrings, straw panama hat, and a pair of nuetral colored strappy sandals.

 

 

I had a lot of fun putting together a complete outfit in Target Style. I’ll be able to mix and match all of these pieces into my summer wardrobe, and whats best is that this ENTIRE look came in at only $84.09! What?!
