Almost every resort on Disney Property offers a free showing of a Disney movie around sundown. No matter where you are staying or visiting, it’s a much more relaxed alternative to the crowds and craziness of the nighttime spectaculars in the Parks. But, no resort does it better than Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort.

Fort Wilderness is the home of Chip and Dale’s Campfire Sing-A-Long. This nightly celebration begins around dusk, with the lighting of two campfires ready to roast your marshmallows to golden-brown perfection (or black and burnt, whichever your preference). Don’t worry if you forgot to bring your own s’mores supplies though, you can purchase a full kit complete with a bag of marshmallows, two chocolate bars, a sleeve of graham crackers, and two roasting sticks for $9.99 from Chip and Dale’s snack camper.

Around 8:00 PM, a local Cowboy takes the stage to lead the crowd in a sing along of all your favorite campfire tunes, while Chip and Dale wander through the stands for a bit of mingling (and maybe to steal a bite of your s’more if you aren’t watching them close enough!).

The sing along portion of the evening lasts around 30-40 minutes, and is immediately followed by the showing of a favorite Disney movie on the big screen. Make sure you get there early for a good seat, eat as many s’mores as you can, and sing as loud as you want to!
